BA (Hons) Architecture

De Montfort University

Campus: Leicester
Tution Fees: £15750
Scholarship: 500

Studying Architecture at DMU is about gaining the skills and knowledge to make a real difference in our community and the world. You'll learn to design buildings that address global challenges like the climate emergency.

You'll explore the history of architecture and design while completing practical exercises focused on ethical architecture in the commercial world. Most of your learning will happen in the design studio, where you'll work on projects in various settings—from small homes to large cities. You'll collaborate with students from other built environment courses, just as you would in a professional setting.

Key Features:

- Join a community dedicated to transforming the construction industry from within to help address the global climate crisis.

- The course is accredited by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and the Architects Registration Board (ARB), meaning you'll be exempt from the RIBA and ARB Part I exams.

- The Leicester School of Architecture (LSA) has a 125-year tradition of training the next generation of architects with a focus on the "craft of making."

- Make a real impact by working on live design projects in Leicester. Previous students have redesigned the Leicester Museum and Art Gallery, renovated a derelict site to create an immersive theatre, and imagined wild pools and saunas along the River Soar.
