In this hands-on course, you'll explore both traditional skills and new technologies while working with a variety of materials like glass (both hot and cold), clay, paper, fine metals, plastic, resin, wood, and textiles.
You'll choose a focus and decide your path based on what interests you most, helping you find your creative style. You'll have the freedom to experiment with different techniques to create objects for home use, interior or exterior spaces, or to wear. These could be small or large pieces, such as bowls, tiles, stoneware, glassware, jewellery, tableware, or sculptures, just to name a few.
You'll also learn about the craft industry and markets, along with environmental and ethical issues related to craft. The course emphasizes professional and business skills to help you become a well-prepared and flexible creative professional who understands your work.
