DMU’s Fashion Design students get to use professional-level facilities and work with well-known industry brands like the British Fashion Council, Burberry, Warehouse, and New Look.
You can specialize in menswear, womenswear, or fashion knitwear while learning subjects like fashion illustration, creative concept development, pattern cutting, and computer-aided design (CAD). Sustainability is a big focus, and students have worked with researchers on projects like zero-waste pattern cutting and fabric repurposing.
Many of our talented graduates have recently showcased their collections at fashion weeks and events across the UK and in cities like Shanghai, Dubai, and Hong Kong.
