DMU’s course is based on the latest research in areas like aerodynamics, fluid systems, transportation, manufacturing, and sustainable development. We use our Mechanical Engineering Laboratory to study things like thermofluids, solid mechanics, and dynamics.
You will gain essential problem-solving skills by taking courses on General Engineering Tools, Principles, and Mechanical Design and Manufacturing. You’ll also develop professional skills through modules like Design and Project Management, Advanced Mechanical Materials, and Engineering Business Environment.
You can choose to study Mechanical Engineering in two ways: as a three-year BEng (Hons) program or a four-year integrated master’s program. After three years, you can either graduate with a BEng degree or continue for an extra year to earn an MEng, if you meet the requirements.
