BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance

You need five GCSEs at grade 4 or higher, including English and Maths. Typically, we look for 112 UCAS points. You should study at least two subjects at A Level or equivalent (like BTEC).

For T Levels, a Merit is required. For BTEC qualifications:

- National Diploma: Distinction/Distinction/Merit
- Extended Diploma: Distinction/Distinction/Merit
- You also need five GCSEs at grade C or above, including English, or an equivalent qualification. If you are taking an Access to HE course, you need an overall 112 UCAS tariff with at least 30 Level 3 credits at Merit. English and Maths GCSE must be separate qualifications; they cannot be part of the Access course. It’s usually required that students have had a break from full-time education before starting the Access course.
- For the International Baccalaureate, you need 26 or more points.

English Language Requirements

If English isn’t your first language, you’ll need an IELTS score of 6.0 overall, with at least 5.5 in each section (or an equivalent score) before starting the course.
 

Students admitted to undergraduate study at DMU are automatically awarded an international scholarship of £1,500 for their first year of study. Students commencing Postgraduate Taught study (but not the Global MBA) at DMU are automatically awarded an international scholarship for their first year of study up to £2,000. Students admitted into the Global MBA at DMU are automatically awarded an international scholarship of £2,500.
