BSc (Hons) Computer Science

DMU welcome applicants from various backgrounds.

You need:

- Five GCSEs at grade 4 or higher, including English and Maths.

Plus one of the following:

- A typical offer is 112 UCAS points, with at least two A Levels or equivalent (e.g., BTEC).
- T Levels with a Merit grade.
- BTEC National Diploma with Distinction/Distinction/Merit.
- BTEC Extended Diploma with Distinction/Distinction/Merit.
- Five GCSEs at grade C or above, including English, or an equivalent qualification.

Other accepted qualifications include:

- A pass in a QAA-accredited Access to HE course with a total of 112 UCAS points, including at least 30 Level 3 credits at Merit. Separate GCSEs in English and Maths are required, as equivalency is not accepted within the Access qualification. Usually, you need to have taken a break from full-time education before starting the Access course.
- An International Baccalaureate with 26 or more points.

English Language Requirements
If English is not your first language, you need an IELTS score of 6.0 overall, with at least 5.5 in each section, or an equivalent score, when you start the course.

Students admitted to undergraduate study at DMU are automatically awarded an international scholarship of £1,500 for their first year of study. Students commencing Postgraduate Taught study (but not the Global MBA) at DMU are automatically awarded an international scholarship for their first year of study up to £2,000. Students admitted into the Global MBA at DMU are automatically awarded an international scholarship of £2,500.
