Video games have become bigger than the film, music, and video industries in the UK. DMU courses are designed to prepare you for jobs that need hands-on skills in gaming technologies.
You'll get practical experience with popular game engines like Unity3D and Unreal Engine. You'll also learn sound engineering and how to create games for different platforms, such as consoles, mobile devices, and virtual/augmented reality. The course focuses on professionalism and has strong connections to BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.


You’ll study a variety of practical, technology-focused modules like Audio for Games, Advanced Game Engines, and Scripting and AI for Simulation. This will help you build a broad set of skills that you can use in the areas of game development that interest you. You’ll also get to create a short game using the engine of your choice.
