This course focuses on supporting original work that connects with today’s audience and our current experiences. It also looks at the history and practices of both popular and experimental theatre to help understand the future of these fields.
The team has expertise in areas such as creating new work, performer training, live art, popular theatre, immersive and interactive theatre, documentation, writing for performance, and more. Collaboration and interdisciplinary work are central to the course, and you’re encouraged to join in various extra-curricular and creative activities at DMU.
