The Pharmaceutical Quality by Design (QbD) course helps you understand the challenges in creating new products for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. You'll learn modern methods for developing and manufacturing products that follow current best practices and QbD principles.

Our Leicester School of Pharmacy has over 100 years of experience in teaching pharmacy. This course focuses on applying global regulatory guidelines to pharmaceutical manufacturing and product development.

To join this course, you need a good honours degree (at least a 2:2 or equivalent) in a science subject like chemistry, biology, chemical engineering, pharmacy, or physics.

English Language Requirements

If English isn’t your first language, you must have an IELTS score of 6.5 overall, with at least 6.0 in each part (or equivalent) when you start the course.

Students admitted to undergraduate study at DMU are automatically awarded an international scholarship of £1,500 for their first year of study. Students commencing Postgraduate Taught study (but not the Global MBA) at DMU are automatically awarded an international scholarship for their first year of study up to £2,000. Students admitted into the Global MBA at DMU are automatically awarded an international scholarship of £2,500.
